TENSION IN IMO STATE: Three civilians killed by Armed Security Agents over the demolition of Eke Ukwu Market


The demolition of Eke Ukwu market in Owerri, the Imo state capital by the state government which began this morning was reported to have  brought a huge clash between the Armed Security Agents Deployed by Imo state Government and the traders during the process.


Following the demolition, it was gathered that the clash led to killing of a young Boy went to the Market to assist his Parents to Evacuate their Goods. He was gunned down alongside two other by trigger of the Security Agents that accompained the State Governement in carrying out the demolition..



The unfortunate incident has deepened the conflicting relationship between the state government and the people of Imo state.
