A 14 year old teenager to serve as Governor of Abia state for 24hours

Governor Joy Ezechikamnayo will today take over the reins of power in Abia State for 24 hours.


Joy Ezechikamnayo (14), becomes the first One Day Governor of Abia State and will be sworn in by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu today.

The SS3 student and senior prefect of Intellectual Giants Christian Academy, Umuahia, merged as top performer after a rigorous essay competition that lasted over a week and she is currently attending a leadership retreat with members of her cabinet. She will also be joined by members of her executive council drawn from all the LGAs of Abia State.

Performing her first assignment, Her Excellency Miss Joy declares 12 of December Abia Teenage day.

“I will put forward my candidacy for the post of president of the Russian Federation in 2018 elections" ... Putin

Vladimir Putin 65, who has been in power, either as president or prime minister of Russia since 2000, announced on Wednesday he would seek re-election in March 2018, a contest opinion polls show he will win comfortably, setting the stage for him to extend his dominance of Russia’s political landscape to another six years until 2024.

         


It would be Putin's fourth term in office should he win the presidential elections scheduled for next year.
